In 2004, Amy and Roger were finally able to travel together!  Sometimes, Roger went to a conference and Amy went along as a spouse (see Samoa); other times Amy went to a conference and Roger went along with a spouse. Thailand was Amy's turn; she participated in a conference on electronic commerce sponsored by the United Nations Economic and Social Council of Asia-Pacific (UNESCAP).  Bangkok and Chiang Mi were the two destination spots: with rides on elephants and oxen carts, river trips, and even cooking lessons!
